Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide
How to replace the coin cell battery in
the key fob remote control of a 2006-2012 Ford Fusion sedan with pictures.

| The first step is
to locate the small notch on the key fob at the edge closest to the red
"Panic" button. Insert the blade of a small flathead screwdriver into the
notch and pry off the rear cover. Below the key fob's rear cover, you'll see the old Panasonic CR2032 3V battery. Gently pry out the old battery with the small flathead screwdriver |

| Push in a new CR 2032 3V battery into the key fob remote control with the "+" side facing up towards you. | ||||

![]() Test New Key Fob Battery |

| Line up the key
fob's rear cover and carefully snap it into place.
Test the new battery by pressing the "Unlock" or "Lock" buttons while standing near your Ford Fusion sedan. For more,
