This
automotive "how-to" guide was specifically written to assist owners
of the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Ford Fusion in replacing a burnt out fog light
bulb or front side marker light bulb. Owners of other Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicles such as the Fiesta, Mustang, Focus, Taurus, Flex, Edge, Expedition, Escape, Ranger, F-150, MKZ, MKS, MKX, MKT, Navigator, Milan, Grand Marquis, Mariner, and Mountaineer may also find this instruction guide to be helpful. Replacement bulbs for the fog lights are part # H11.The front sidemarker bulbs are part # 168. They are available from various manufacturers such as Sylvania, Philips, PIAA, ACDelco, and GE. The only tool needed to access the bulbs is a flathead screwdriver. A pop rivet removal tool can also be helpful for removing fasteners. |

Holding Wheel Well Open |
The first step is
to turn the steering wheel all the way to the opposite side of the burnt out
bulb.
For example, if you want to replace the passenger side fog light bulb you would turn the wheels to the left. Then remove the black plastic wheel well liner fasteners with a flathead screwdriver by first prying out the smaller center piece and then pulling out the larger outer piece with your fingers or a panel removal tool. Gently pull back the wheel well liner and locate the black/green fog light bulb socket and the black/gray front side marker light bulb socket. The location of the bulb sockets is labeled in Picture # 7 below. |
