Raise Wiper Arm Off Window
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Dodge Dart in changing the front windshield window wiper blades.

Owners of other Chrysler, Dodge and RAM vehicles such as the Town & Country, 300, 200, Avenger, Charger, Journey, Challenger, Durango, Grand Caravan, and Ram C/V Tradesman minivan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 18".

A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers include the following: Rain-X 5079281-1 & Rain-X 5079275-1, Bosch 26A & Bosch 18A, Anco 31-26 & Anco 31-18, Valeo 60026 & Valeo 60018, Michelin 8526 & Michelin 8518 and Trico 25-260 & Trico 25-180.

The only tool needed to replace the wiper blades is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool.

Lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself.

Gently pry open the rectangular black plastic lock tab on the old wiper blade with a small flathead screwdriver.

Swing open the locking tab up and away from the windshield.

Towel - Protect Glass
Pass the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm through the opening in the center of the old wiper blade.

Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being chipped, cracked, shattered or scratched just in case the wiper arm smacks down on to the window.

I recommend buying the Bosch 26A and Bosch 18A wiper blades since they have excellent reviews on Amazon.

Lower Arm To Window
Double check that the new wiper blade is securely installed.

Gently lower the wiper arm down to the windshield.

For the best results, I'd recommend thoroughly cleaning the windshield and applying a window treatment product such as Rain-X or Zaino Glass Polish.
