Some of the features of the Daggerwing Nature Center include an elevated boardwalk, an interactive exhibit hall with live animals, a reading area, a laboratory, a lobby, and a classroom.

Unfortunately, we arrived too late in the day to enjoy the new exhibit hall. So we just went for a walk on the Cathy Burdett Nature Trail.

On the boardwalk, there are two trails, several park benches, and an observation tower for visitors to enjoy.

Some of the wildlife commonly seen at Daggerwing Nature Center include herons, wood storks, osprey, woodpeckers, Florida Alligators, and butterflies (such as the Ruddy Daggerwing).
