Chrysler Town & Country Rear
Wiper Blade Replacement Guide
How to change the rear windshield window
wiper blade on a 5th generation 2011 to 2014 Chrysler Town & Country.
2012 Town & Country |
Lift Blade Off Window |
Push Release Button |
This
automotive tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the
revised 5th generation (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) Chrysler Town &
Country in changing a worn out rear windshield window wiper blade. Owners of related Chrysler Group minivan vehicles such as the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Lancia Grand Voyager, Ram C/V Tradesman Cargo Van and the Volkswagen Routan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful. A replacement rear wiper blade is 16" (inches) in size. Some of the compatible aftermarket blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch 16-CA, Anco 31-16, Bosch 4816, Valeo 600-16, Trico 20-160, Michelin 5016, Motorcraft WW-1601-PF and PIAA 95040. No tools are needed to change the rear wiper blade. |

Slide Bracket Off Hook |
Remove Blade From Arm |
Protect Window With Towel |
Raise the rear
wiper arm off the window. Angle the wiper blade away from the wiper arm and locate the black plastic release tab. Press the release tab towards the wiper arm and slide the blade to the left (driver side) and off the metal hook at the end of the arm. Place a towel against the window to protect the glass from being cracked or chipped just in case the wiper arm smacks down against it. I've always had great experiences with the Bosch 16-CA rear wiper blade and it has great reviews on Amazon. |

Line Up Bracket & Hook |
Slide Blade On Arm |
Lower Blade To Window |
Line up the plastic
bracket in the center of a new 16 inch wiper blade with the metal hook at
the end of the wiper arm. Slide the bracket to the right and insert it in to the hook. Double check that the new wiper blade is securely in place. Gently lower the wiper blade down to the rear window. For more,
