This automotive tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the revised 5th generation (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016) Chrysler Town & Country in changing a burnt out low beam, high beam, front turn signal or side marker light bulb in the headlight assemblies.

Owners of related Chrysler Group minivan vehicles such as the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Lancia Grand Voyager, Ram C/V Tradesman Cargo Van and the Volkswagen Routan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

Replacement light bulbs with their part numbers are as follows: Low Beam # H11, High Beam H11, Front Turn Signal 3757A and Front Side Marker 2825. They are available from manufacturers such as Sylvania, GE, Philips and PIAA.

No tools are required to change any of the bulbs.

A flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool can be useful for prying off the electrical plugs.

You may also need a pair of pliers to turn the hard to reach front side marker bulb socket.

Old High Beam Bulb
The low beam and high beam bulbs are located in the middle of the housing.

The low beam light is the larger of the two circular reflectors and it is located closer to the outer edge of the vehicle.

The high beam is located next to the turn signal bulb closer to the center line of the minivan.

Reach in behind the headlight housing and pry off the power plug on the high beam bulb with a small flathead screwdriver.

Rotate the base of the bulb 1/4 turn counter clockwise and pull it straight out.

Since both the low and high beam headlights are H11 bulbs, if necessary, you could temporarily replace a burnt out low beam bulb with one of the high beam units.
