| When I had booked the room online, at $219.00 a night plus taxes, I requested a "larger corner room with a view" in the special requests field of the reservation form. Unfortunately, neither of my wishes were granted, but our room was a good size for the two of us. The "Heavenly" California king sized bed was very comfortable, while the "Heavenly Bath" was nice but not extraordinary with just a double headed shower water massager. | ||||

| The rest of the furnishings and the room's amenities were of high quality and appeared to be in very good condition. The Westin mini-bar refrigerator was temptingly packed with tasty treats and refreshing beverages, but a trip to the Walgreens a few blocks down Michigan Ave. was a real money saver. | ||||

| Overall, the Westin Hotel @ The Magnificent Mile in Downtown Chicago was a good value, mostly for it's convenient location. I don't foresee us visiting Chicago anytime in the near or distant future, but if we did venture back, I'd opt for a less expensive hotel further from the Magnificent Mile and employ taxis to get around. | ||||
