Wendy's Parking Lot

Biketoberfest is a motorcycle event held each year in beautiful Daytona Beach Florida. It is one of the largest motorcycle rallies in Florida and the USA.

The 4 day long Biketoberfest event delights motorcycle enthusiasts with live music, food, exhibits, bike shows, sportbike races, vendors, contests, marriages, and motorcycle manufacturer displays.

All of the sportbike motorcycle races during Biketoberfest take place at the Daytona International Speedway which is famous for it's high speed banked NASCAR turns.

The major sportbike motorcycle rider hangout during Biketoberfest is the Wendy's parking lot on International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona Beach by the I-95 interstate highway.

Above you'll see a few bikes covered in faux Leopard, Lion & Cheetah fur and also a rider wearing big baggy Tiger pants. The owners of those bikes are members of the Ohio based "Zoo Crew" sportbike motorcycle stunt team. Later after I took these pictures in the Wendy's parking lot, a group of us followed the Zoo Crew over to a strip mall parking lot to watch an impromptu stunt show. The Zoo Crew thrilled the crowd with a stunt show full of daring wheelies, smoky burnouts, and 12 O'clock stoppies.

One of the major attractions at the Biketoberfest festival was the display tents where all the major motorcycle manufacturers and custom bike shops had their newest motorcycle models out for the public to examine. All of the most popular brands of motorcycles such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, Harley Davidson, and Buell were strategically placed on the show floor.
