The Tejas Bock beer was modeled after the brews created by the
Tejanos of old Northern Mexico (now known as the state of Texas) as influenced by the Austro-Hungarian rulers from Germany and the Czech Republic.

The Beers of America information describes this beer as having a creamy texture with rich flavor and a fine malt body.

It has an amber color pour with a creamy tan head that tastes of caramel and brown sugar. Tejas Bock also has a very hoppy flavor with some grain flavors and a dry alcohol taste.
