The best way to keep your 2nd generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014)  Honda Fit or Honda Jazz running reliably for many years is to regularly change the motor oil and replace the oil filter on the L15A7 1.5L I4 engine.

2. Honda Fit (Jazz) Front Brake Pads Replacement Guide

If your Honda Fit or Jazz is making a squealing noise every time you lightly step on the brake pedal, you most likely may need to replace the front brake pads.

The pads on the front disc brakes tend to last about half as long as the brake "shoes" on the rear drum brakes. Luckily, replacing the front brake pads only requires a little over an hour, some common hand tools and new pads that cost about $40-60.

5. Honda Fit (Jazz) Cabin Air Filter Element Cleaning & Replacement Guide

If the A/C system in your 2nd generation (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014) Honda Fit or Honda Jazz is blowing out musty air or not working as well anymore, you may need to clean or replace the HVAC cabin air filter element.

Over time, the cabin air filter can become clogged with dust, dirt, leaves, twigs and insects which may reduce the air flow.
