Raise Wiper Arm Off Glass
This automotive maintenance tutorial was specifically written to assist owners of the second generation 2015, 2016 and 2017 Chrysler 200 sedan in changing the windshield window wiper blades.

Owners of other Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM or Fiat vehicles such as the 300, Pacifica, Town & Country, Avenger, Charger, Challenger, Journey, Dart, Durango, Magnum, Grand Caravan, Fiat 500, Fiat 124 Spider, Grand Cherokee, Renegade, Wrangler, Compass, Liberty, Patriot, ProMaster, 1500 and C/V Tradesman minivan may also find these DIY instructions to be helpful.

The OEM blade sizes in inches are as follows: Driver Side 26" and Passenger Side 19".

A few compatible replacement wiper blades with their part numbers are as follows: Bosch Icon 26A & Bosch Icon 19A, Rain-X RX30226 & Rain-X RX30219, Aero 26" & 19", Anco 31-26 & Anco 31-19, Michelin 8026 & Michelin 8019 and Trico Exact Fit 26-1 & Trico Exact Fit 19-1.

The only tool needed to remove and change the wiper blades is a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool.

Pry Up Lock Tab
The first step is to lift the wiper arm off the windshield until it remains in the raised position by itself.

Then use a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool to gently lift up the bottom edge of the plastic locking tab located at the middle of the old wiper blade and just above the metal wiper arm.

Remove Old Wiper Blade
Push the small black plastic tab in towards the metal wiper arm to release the old wiper blade.

Pull the old wiper blade down to disengage the mounting bracket from the hook at the end of the metal wiper arm.

Rotate the old wiper blade until it is perpendicular (90 degree angle) to the metal wiper arm.

Pull the old wiper blade off the end of the metal wiper arm.

Line Up New Wiper Blade
Place a towel on the windshield to protect the glass from being cracked, shattered, chipped or scratched just in case the metal wiper arm smacks down on to the window while you are replacing the wiper blade.

I recommend buying the Bosch Icon 26A and Bosch Icon 19A wiper blades since they have excellent reviews on Amazon.

Hold the new wiper blade near the metal wiper arm with the rubber blade facing away from the car.

New Blade Secured
Pass the metal hook at the end of the wiper arm through the opening in the center of the new blade.

Rotate the new wiper blade until it is almost parallel with the wiper arm.

Pull the new wiper blade up to secure the plastic mounting bracket in to the metal hook.

You should hear or feel a "click" when the new wiper blade is securely attached to the wiper arm.

Lower Wiper Arm To Glass
Swing down the lock tab and gently pop it back in to place to secure the new wiper blade.

Gently lower the wiper arm back down to the windshield.

For the best wiper performance, I recommend thoroughly cleaning off the windshield and applying a window treatment product that will repel water such as Rain-X.
