The replacement trunk light bulb part number is 194 which is available from various manufacturers such as Sylvania, GE, PIAA and Eiko.

You may also use any other miniature wedge base bulbs such as the # 168, 158, W5W, 2825 or a compatible LED unit.

No tools are needed to access and replace the light bulb.

Empty Bulb Socket
The first step is to open the trunk.

Then locate the grey plastic cage that covers the cargo area light bulb.

Gently pull back the tab on the left (driver) side to release the cover and swing it open.

If the old bulb was recently illuminated, be careful since it might still be hot enough to burn your fingers.

Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket.

If you have trouble removing the old bulb, try putting on a latex rubber glove to get a better grip on the bulb.
